MCSR Hub is a personal project, an unofficial companion app for MCSR Ranked that I built and maintain on my own. This page explains what data the app collects and what happens to it.
Account data (optional)
If you sign in, I collect your email address and Minecraft username through Firebase Authentication (Google). I never see your password. If you've donated via Ko-fi, your Ko-fi email is automatically linked to your account to assign a supporter badge. You can use the app without an account.
Usage and crash data
I use Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to collect anonymous data about how the app is used and when it crashes. This includes:
This is purely for debugging and understanding how the app is used. It's all processed by Google through Firebase.
Device info
Requests to my backend include your device model and OS version. I log these for debugging and compatibility purposes. They're not linked to your account.
Accelerometer
The app reads your device's accelerometer for a parallax effect on some screens. This never leaves your device.
MCSR Ranked data
The app fetches publicly available data from the MCSR Ranked API: player stats, match history, leaderboards. Some of this is cached on my server to keep the app fast. I don't sell it or share it with anyone.
I don't sell your data. I don't run ads.
Traffic between the app and my backend uses HTTPS. Firebase handles authentication and analytics on Google's infrastructure. The Ninjabrain Bot integration talks to a local server on your own machine over your local network, so it never touches the internet.
For details on how Firebase handles your data, see Google's Firebase Privacy page.
Your account data is kept until you delete your account. Server logs rotate and aren't kept indefinitely. If you want your account deleted, email me at the address below.
MCSR Hub is rated 13+ on the App Store. I don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you think that's happened, let me know and I'll delete it.
If I update this policy in a meaningful way, I'll try to note it in an app update. The "last updated" date at the top will always reflect the current version.
For any questions about your data, or to request account deletion, email me at admin@mcsrhub.com.
Include your Minecraft username or account email so I can find you.
